Books By Laura Lawrence

An Author’s Journey

My writing journey began in my early teens, when I found solace and expression through the pages of my diary. While I never imagined becoming an author, I was always captivated by the power of words—whether through heartfelt letters, thoughtful notes, greeting cards, or reflective journaling.

In 2020, this quiet passion evolved into something more: I began writing children’s books, inspired by a desire to spark imagination and share meaningful stories with young readers. Since then, I’ve proudly self-published four books, each one a labor of love and a step forward on this unexpected yet deeply fulfilling creative path.

Behind Closed Doors

Memoirs of Motherhood, Marriage & Mental Health

A heartfelt memoir intertwined with the powerful, authentic voices of 13 remarkable Saskatchewan women. This collection weaves together deeply personal stories of resilience, vulnerability, and strength as these women navigate the hard seasons of life—loss, struggle, change—and the hope-filled moments that bring light, healing, and transformation.

Rooted in the prairie spirit of grit and grace, this book is a celebration of connection, courage, and the enduring power of storytelling.

Love Bug Books

A Heartwarming Collection of Children’s Stories

Love Bug Books is a heartwarming collection of children's stories created by author and publisher Laura Lawrence. Inspired by one tiny ladybug—symbolizing the cherished memory of her beloved Oma Elly—each book carries themes of love, kindness, and connection. A signature feature of the series is the hidden ladybug tucked into every story, a delightful surprise that brings joy to young readers and families alike.

With thoughtful storytelling and whimsical charm, Love Bug Books offers memorable reading moments that children will treasure—and parents will love sharing.
